What is it you're exactly wanting to do? Do you like studying business because the MBA is for those who already have experience and are looking to move up? While I normally wouldn't recommend criminal justice, if you want to ever become a warden, a degree in criminal justice is preferred. A degree in criminal justice administration will combine public administration/management and CJ. For other management positions in the public and non-profit sectors, an MPA should do; it just won't have the same flexibility as an MBA because the MBA is sought after in the public and private sectors.

I was looking into possibly moving into private-sector corrections some day. In fact, my entire capstone was on private corrections.
I think it will probably be best for me to just cool my jets for a couple of months. I'm letting the excitement of NOT having to study for the first time in 4 years get to me... Time for a break.

Ew. Why? The job security (civil service and/or union) and benefits are so much better with government agencies unless your city goes bankrupt. If you want to be on the business side, I could see a business degree helping you. If you want to move up the ranks, then a master's degree in CJ would probably better. Other options would be social work, counseling, psychology, and sociology. With a social work degree or psychology/counseling degree that qualifies you to become licensed as a counselor, you will always have a backup.

Ok, so after a few months in the program, I have officially withdrawn. I simply could NOT get into the groove with the program, and I got EXTREMELY mad when they made the curriculum better and wouldn't let me switch to the new curriculum!
I've got a few options I'm considering. I will update when I make a decision.

I'm sensing some anger management issues in regards to your relationship with WGU. I thought someone else said that they were letting people switch.

That wasn't what my adviser told me. I was told that the program I agreed to when I enrolled was a contract, and the only way I could get switched to that program was to withdraw, and re-enroll. I do not plan to do enroll again.
