Problems with College Algebra Clep test
#1
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to CLEP College Algebra. So far I have been doing very well and have had no trouble. When I reached Linear and Quadratic Equations and Inequalities I found that some of the problems were having problems! In some of them you have to put in a greater than/ less than or equal to sign and since that is not a button on the keyboard the problem told me to write it down as such: for greater that or equal to >/ and for less than or equal to \<. I did this and even though I double, triple, quadruple checked my work I still kept getting it wrong. Eventually I copied and pasted the symbol they had written down and that worked, but now that is not working anymore either! If anybody has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated!

Ermmmm here's the programmer answer.

Greater than >
Less than <
Equal to =
Greater than or equal to >=
Less than or equal to <=

Might try using those.

Will start pursuing ALM in Information Technology with a concentration in Software Engineering from Harvard Extension School sometime in the coming year.

What software are you speaking of? I assume you are not talking about the actual CLEP test because you would not be able to post a question mid-test. If you are speaking of Insta-cert, I wouldn't worry about it. If you get the correct answer, just move on to the next one. The feedback on instacert is for your benefit only.
