Has anyone took any distant learning classes from here?

The cost is around 225 per class, and non proctored exams, just seems kinda to good to be true. And feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting. This would be cheaper than KCTCS and comparable to Straighterline. How do you know the exams are non-proctored?

I took General Biology, Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology with NMJC back in 2010 and the exams were not proctored. The homework is pretty tough.

The cost of NMJC is very appealing. The problem with any college is completing it successfully, whatever your definition of success is. Two resources to use to improve your chances of success are:

Rate My Professors | Find and rate your professor, campus and more - RateMyProfessors.com clarity may be a better indicator than easiness
Professor ratings, average GPA, class schedule & degree tools | MyEdu high drop rates are bad

The problem with NMJC is that there isn't a lot of data about it on those two sites.

I believe he was pointing out that some of the courses do indeed require proctors.

NMJC is an interesting option. I posted about them awhile back. http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...state.html Note the post from Norema...you can potentially really exploit the NMJC price structure...essentially completing a year of school in 16 weeks. They also accept quite a few CLEP exams. I would like to hear of someone finishing a 2 year degree in 1 semester by utilizing CLEP...I think a motivated student might be able to pull it off!

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.
