last minute Pierpont advice to graduate in December
#21
It looks like it might take a while:

Good Afternoon, Fall 2024 Degree Candidates!

As the end of the semester is quickly approaching, I wanted to give you an idea of the timeline we'll be working with as we review and hopefully confer your degree.

First, the end of the term is Friday, December 13.

Second, we will begin processing all Fall grades on Tuesday, December 17 and Wednesday, December 18.  Once these processes are complete, we will begin the process of conferring (or denying) our candidates for graduation.

Note 1 - This process takes several weeks to complete.  We have several hundred candidates, with a small staff to work through each of the candidates.
Note 2 - The institution is closed beginning on Tuesday, December 24 through Wednesday, January 1.  We will work on conferring degrees until our institution closes.  We will pick back up with the process once we return to the office in January.

Third, we hope to finish this process by Friday, January 10.  This is not a guarantee, but rather a reasonable time frame for completing this process.

Fourth, we will attempt to notify the students who have been conferred their degree at the end of each working day.  Once the degree has been conferred, you can request your transcript because the degree will be posted.  If you know someone else that is a candidate for a degree this semester, please don't be alarmed if their degree is conferred before your degree.

Finally, diplomas will be mailed out near the end of January/beginning of February.  Your diploma should be received by February 15...except for international deliveries.  We can't guarantee delivery times for international addresses.

If you have any questions concerning the process, please feel free to let me know.

Note:  This email doesn't imply conferral of a degree.  This email is only meant to provide information concerning the graduation process.

Thanks,
J.J.

Hmm, I wonder if those who can't graduate as they've not completed the requirements but paid the $350 and applied for graduation already, would they be subject to new fees plus requirements for RA credits in the next session/term?
