So, I plan to take the CLEP test for Management. I have taken the Peterson's CLEP practic test and have consistently scored in the high 60's and low 70's? Am I prepared enough to take the CLEP?

Hey everyone i am back in the loop of testing after a long long break.I went back home for a couple of months and took one exam a month before that.
I have received 38.50 credits for the engineering classes that i passed 6 years back.Apart from these i have 46 credits from CLEP and Dantes which i took from Dec 2005 to April 2006.
I now have a total of 85 credits towards Liberal Studies.I took the Ethics in America test last week and hopefully i will pass that.I took ECE Ethics today and scored B.
The test was very very long and since this was my first ECE exam i felt pretty overwhelmed by the whole thing.3 hours and so much to read and concentrate on. I finished just in time and felt exhausted after the test.
I used Instantcert,my previous knowledge from the DSST version(for that one i had used DSST guide and instantcert) and ECE practice exams.
There were no questions at all about Epicurus,Epictetus,Socrated and i was surprised about that.
There were many questions about Kant,Hume,Hobbes,relativism and nihilism.
I studied for one full week and am glad this is over and done with.
I need to take 9 more exams to complete my degree...assuming that i have passed Ethics in America.I need mostly all upper level except for Math/Stats and English.
The next one i plan to take is Civil War.
I am glad to be back in action on this forum.I do repent wasting a lot of time I could have been done by now...
Thanks for your support everyone,i read a lot of posts about what to study etc before taking the last 2 exams and it was of tremendous help.
As for Instantcert i don't know what i would do without them..i can no longer even think about taking an exam without their study guide.

I need to know which is easier: CLEP Info systems, or CLEP Intro to Psychology? I want to take one of these next Friday, but I have very limited time to study, so I want the easier of the two.

I passed Introductory Sociology with a 72, and I'm reasonably knoledgeable about computer applications.

Any suggestions?

After failing pre-calculus (required for Thomas Edison business majors), I went to enroll in a pre-cal course at a junior collge - but they wouldn't let me in saying I had to have College Algebra AND Triginometry done before being able to enroll. As you know, there is no Trig clep but there is a College Algebra CLEP for three credits. College Algebra AND Trig will satisfy my pre-cal requirement (and all you TH buis majors). So I studied TWO DAYS with the REA College Algebra book (very good - perfect - has three full-length tests with EVERY PROBLEM worked out at the back) and scored a 64 today on College Algebra. Now I will enroll in a Trig course for the Spring (my first real college class....maybe I will quit whining about studying for tests now).

A big idea for any of you in the same boat as me to consider:
When I met with the head of the math dept, she said tech schools still offer a College Algebra/Trig course!!!! Find one that is accredited and you will fill this requirement without College Algebra!!! She said these tech school classes are WAY shorter than a traditional semester (sometimes eight weeks) and the subject matter is very basic (only a little right triangle trig combined with elementary algebra). I'm looking for one now to take instead of trig.....

My clep is tomorrow I have been studying for Intro to Psychology for approximately 2 weeks. I have studied the Instacert, read the REA book, and have taken one Peterson's Practice Exam today. (the day before the test) I only got a 43 on that exam...I am a little dissappointed and nervous about taking it tomorrow!! What do you all think? Thanks!

Hey everyone. I went down to the recruiting office today to take the AFOQT exam. I know this forum isn't for these types of exams, but I know alot of you guys and gals are in the armed services. I have a little more than a month to study for these exams. Does anyone recommend any particular study guide for these exams? I really want to become a fighter pilot and I need to do really well on these exams. If someone could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello folks I just wanted to know if anyone has taken the History of the Vietnam War,and how was it?I received a 5 DVD collection titled the same as the exam,and I was going to use it as my main source for the test.If anyone knows anything else that would help me,that would be greatly appreciated.hilarious

I've completed CLEP Intro to Business Law. I'd like to continue while I'm in that frame of mind and take DSST Business Law II.

Any suggestions on study material would be appreciated from those who have successfully past.

Hi everybody! I'm getting ready to take the DSST Here's to Your Health. I was just wondering if anyone out there has had any experiences with it. Was it hard? Easy? Does anyone know of a good study guide? Any info at all on this test would be greatly appreciated. This is the last test I need to pass before I finish up my BS/BA so I don't want to take any chances with it. Thanks in advance for the help.
