I'm still working on statistics. I feel pretty confident about 4/5ths of instantcert and have worked through about 3/4ths of the Idiots guide to statistics and feel pretty solid on this. I'm wondering if anyone thinks that is enough. I plan on covering the rest but I'm due to take the exam 3-17 and I have kids and a wife. It's tough to study without interuption. Does the exam cover ANOVA and Chi-square. The idiots guide is great but I'm thinking that some stuff goes way beyond the exam. Any input would be great.

Hi everyone,
I took the Social Sciences exam yesterday and found it really tough. I barely passed with a score of 50. I was'nt very well prepared and guessed on more than half the questions. What saved me i think were the questions on Sociology and Psychology.
I am planning to take the US History 1 and 2 exams next as there is a lot of overlap from the Social Sciences exam.
I need to know if the Instantcert guide is good for these 2. I do have Passyourclass guides for both but nothing apart from that.
Do you think Instantcert and Passyourclass would be sufficient or do you think i should get a REA or something else? How long do you think it should take for each of these subjects condidering the fact that taking the Social Sciences exam would'nt help much as i was not well prepared for it.
Also does US history cover the Government part also? meaning political science questions eg how many terms are allowed for the senator etc?
Your advice will be very helpful,
Thanks in advance,
Adoncia

I was just wondering if there are any places to get actual multiple choice questions for free (like the 50 that you get with one of the college board electronic study guides). I just want to supplement what is on here with some multiple choice questions.
I just started studying for my first clep (Information Systems and Computer Applications) and I can't wait to take that test!!!!! This site is great!!!

Like a lot of you I am trying to "excelerate" my graduation with a BA for work reasons.
Two weeks ago I did three Cleps:
Intro to Sociology (3 creds.)
Analyzing Literature (6 creds.)
Information Systems (3 creds.)
Sociology was pretty easy as far as it goes, I spent maybe 5 hours studying this one from instacert, I only used instacert and amazingly did pretty well on this 74 as my score, as well I feel I actually learnt a lot about sociology from the flashcards.
Analyzing Lit was pretty easy, if you can read, you can pass this one.
Info. Systems, I work in IT so this one, aside from the programming questions, was a gimme.
Now I am taking humanities, and intro to world religions next week.

I will be taking my first CLEP tomorrow morning...Prin of Mngmt..paper based. I believe I am on track for a pass but I just wanted to get a confidence booster with a question answered from someone who has taken that particular clep. I have reviewed the flash cards from instacert once (with intentions to continue a couple more times) and have concentrated most of the time with the petersons.com testprep. My questions... are the questions similar to the 3 example test, are they on target for the paper based exam? Do I need to review instacert with just as much attention and detail that I did with peterson testprep?
