Does anyone know if there is a referral fee for signing up people to attend Excelsior College??

I have now signed up my wife and my mom to finish their degrees at Excelsior.

Anyone else have similar results/stories?? Were you converted to Excelsior and would like to tell your story??

Please reply.

I just took two of the three Peterson practice tests for Principles of Microeconomics and scored a 54 and 71. I did so much better on the second test because I looked at what I did wrong on the first one. Can someone tell me how these scores compare with actual Clep scores? Also, is my score on the second test completely skewed because I looked at all of the answers and explanations to the first test before taking the second one?

So much has been written on FEMA credits already but could someone humor me by answering one more or directing me to a thread with a direct answer? If one were getting a BA degree in Liberal Studies from TESC, could 25 of the 27 general elective credits be FEMA credits (I have a reason for considering this but will not elaborate at this point).
Also, does TESC have a General Studies baccalaureate degree or is the Liberal Studies degree the option?
I have hard copies of the TESC College Catalog, Undergrad Prospectus, Registration Bulletin & Program Planning Handbook but sometimes it helps to be able to ask things from you guys.

Edit: In reviewing this it may appear I'm asking without checking the mentioned publications or Instacert threads. This is not the case. I've reviewed these items but still have a LOT to understand.......

I am new to the CLEP testing. I already took the Human Growth and Development test and failed with a 40. I was very disappointed and thought I knew the material well from my study source, the REA book. I saw so much stuff on the exam that wasn't even close to the study book. I was giving up, but I'm giving it another chance. I found instacert on a search engine and decided to try this. From everything I read on this website, instacert is the way to go. I have been out of college for 30 years and find this all so overwelming. I've chosen my next exam as Intro to Sociology. I saw where someone posted this as to the second easiest exam he took and that it was a good baseline so here I go. I can use any study tips anyone has. My email is [email protected] and anyone is free to send me anything. Thanks in advance for advice and tips. I want to take the exam before Christmas if possible. Thanks!!! Linda

is there any exam / test / clep / dantes / etc for managerial accounting??

really don't want to sit in a class

I have a couple of questions about the Penn Foster courses.

After you have enrolled, when you get your course material in the mail

1. Do all the unproctored exams come with the course material or do you have to wait until the first is graded then they send the second and so on?

2. How long does it take to get the results of your tests?

3. How long does it take for them to grade the final?

Anyone know were I can get some Algebra and eventually Calculus videos? Preferably online videos and something that's not going to break the bank. Not to mention something that starts out w/a beginner level so I can relearn what I took in high school.
