I've seen several responses from people not being entirely satisfied so I figured I would give a shot at putting together a more traditional style diploma.
Maybe current students and alumni can request the school update its diploma style
Looks way better. I'll probably do the same thing with mine. Keep the original in a file cabinet, but my mock-up will be the one I hang up.

The Old English font is kind of hard to read. I have 2 UMPI diplomas and I'm just happy I earned them. I don't care what font is used. All diplomas aren't printed in an Old English style font these days. I had a diploma from 20+ years ago that's not in this style.
That's also NOT the President of UMPI. Nor is that the Chancellor of U of M or the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. The President is Dr. Raymond Rice. The Chancellor is Dannel Malloy, JD. Patricia Riley is the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. If you want the university to consider redoing their diploma again, maybe do some research and use the actual people you have listed.

It's past bedtime for someone. Kindness is free.
Pretty cool, I would not mind using this style to actually hang up in my office... The current style looks very cheap!
Completed Degree(s):
University of Maine at Presque Isle
Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration magna cum laude
August 25th, 2023
Eastern University
Master of Business Administration
August 31st, 2024
I like the old English fonts and the logo at the top.
The name of the person and the name of the degree would benefit from a bigger font.
Is a nice mock up. Thumbs up.

I think it is great that many here who earn their bachelor want to display it proudly by framing their diploma; most (earned through here or otherwise) end up in a drawer. What I find ironic is how many people here have been complaining about the appearance of the thing they claim to be so proud of (and it is not just the UMPI version). The 'traditional diploma style' for any of these schools is the version you received at this time, as those are what is authentic. I'm beginning to think that (in some cases) being able to earn these degrees so quickly makes it easy to lose sight that the diploma received is worth far more than the paper (font, ink, seal, etc) that it's printed on.

Kindness is using the correct names of people on a diploma. Those people earned those positions in life. If you want to make a mockup then at least try to be authentic. A fake diploma isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Some people on here care more about what the diploma looks like than actually earning the diploma.
I think most people just want to be able to display a diploma that doesn’t literally look like it was made with Word Art fonts. My pierpont diploma looks 20 times more professional and collegiate than my UMPI diploma. I display it regardless but it looks very juvenile.
