So can anyone who has taken these exams tell me are the questions true or false, multiple choice, fill in the blank? I'm studying for Ethics in America and just wondering what the test format will look like. Have been using IC and also everyones notes on here(thank you by the way) and also wondering when am I ready to test-anyone have any insight with that? Thanks!

I'm thinking multiple choice, A-D, on a DSST test. Run through the flash cards about three times, read everything, don't type into the boxes it's a waste of time, and if you run across something you just don't understand write it down and look it up on Wiki. Wear out the Exam Specific Feedback section. Also, get good at using the search function.

It is multiple choice (A-D) as dewisant said. In this case Ethics in America is a "refreshed exam" meaning it was updated a few years ago and the passing score changed to 400. What does that mean for you? It means depending on the form they give you a score of 46-50% is all that is needed to pass (for this specific exam, others with 400 scores have different score requirements).
See this link (page 2 for the list):

Check out their official study guide (and note that they call them DSST exams unless you are using the military's DANTES program to pay for it).

My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

Thank you both that was really helpful. Does anyone know how many questions are on this exam. Looks like you only need to get 46-50% of questions right on this exam. I will keep going thru the flashcards. I also have the official DSST guide-this is actually really helpful too. Don't see alot of updated threads(recently) or am I not searching right? I have been using the advanced search and typing in Ethics in America and then choosing posts from atleast 1 mo ago. Thanks Sheri

Since you are using flashcards you must be a member. Are you using the specific forum to do a search for this particular test?

Maybe I'm not searching right. I just go to the box at the top right and fill in Ethics in America and do a advanced search-is this right? Because it usually takes me to the internet-very strange but then it has some posts regarding the exam. Is there a diff. way to search for the forums that I might be missing? please let me know. I don't want to miss anything. Thank you in advance.

I'm talking about signing into the DegreeForum. Signing in to run through flash cards is not enough, you have to sign in again.
