Are you allowed to have the character map open? Is there a better/easier method. My laptop doesn’t have the numbers on the side, and I’ve figured out the short keys on some (at least dealing with Word), but not sure if they will work when taking the test.

You can change your keyboard to Spanish. Google how to do it.

I prefer the US international keyboard layout. It's nearly identical, it only takes a few extra keystrokes to do accents.

Yes, you can add the international keyboard option. I would add the extra language input layout and play with it for a few days before your exam to get familiar with it. At the bottom of the screen, it'll just show up as whatever language instead of ENG for English. You can get out of that language and back to English whenever you need, it's simple to use.
