i've been looking for feedback regarding Clep College Algebra.
i've purchased several different study guides: passyourclass, clep, dummies, & DeMystiefied. my level of math is probably algebra I. i've also printed the description of the exam....it just all seems so overwhelming. I've passes other clep test but cant image taking a TIMED clep alg. test. any info. or advise would be greatly appreciated!

See with your school if they accept DSST Fundamentals of College Algebra, its easier and if you find a test center in your area which gives the paper-based version, there is no time limit Wink dont stress, its not Statistics or Calculus lol Its just algebra !! just take some practice test (peterson etc..) if you score around 60 % or above, you good to go Smile

I just passed the clep yesterday with a score of 56. I used the book, Precalcus The Easy Way and the following webcites to clarify concepts.

S.O.S. Math - Algebra

WT Virtual Math Lab

Mathematics Lessons

Hope these help and good luck to you! Smile If I can pass the clep anyone can b/c math is NOT my strongest subject.

P.S. The strategy I used was to take the description of the exam and learn each of the concept/problems that was listed on that sheet. Then I spent the 2nd to last week before my test date to study the concepts I was having trouble with and the week before the test day I reviewed everything.

clep lover: I have copied and pasted your feedback into the feedback section. I'm sure the websites you posted will be very helpful to others.
