Which science exams don't require calculations/formulas?
#1
I plan to eventually take chemistry and Uexcel physics, but I want to knock out the science exams that only require memorization first. I know it's going to take me a lot longer to study for math heavy exams. Do any of you know which science exams include little to no math? I assume biology, astronomy, and race to save the planet fall into that category. Thank you in advance.

I don't remember any math in bio or the branch courses of bio I've taken (except for one tiny aspect of BIO210 Nutrition calculating calories and percents), but my memory could be faded. A guest of my son's mentioned having trouble in "biology math" which, even after she explained, I had no idea what she meant. I "think" she maybe meant body chemistry reactions, which are very chemistry-ish and scary looking....but I don't want to assume...there could be something mathy that I've missed.

Environment and Humanity had zero math. CLEP NS and DSST Phy Sci had physics formulas, but they aren't complicated. It's just memorization and number plugging.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

And maybe some Chemistry equations. But if there’s anything like that, it’s pretty basic.

Thank you for all of the responses. I guess I'll start with biology, astronomy, and Environment and Humanity. Maybe I'll take some of the biology ECEs. Then, I'll attempt natural sciences and physical science. I'll save chemistry and physics for last. I'll have to research how much math is in physical geology. I'm thinking of getting a science associates degree to boost my resume for the types of jobs I'll be going after once I complete my masters. I need to learn a foreign language too.
