WES Canada recognizes ENEB/Isabel

I have tried to get my ENEB/Isabel Masters verified through WES Canada for immigration (IRCC) purposes. I can now confirm that WES Canada have changed their stance and will no longer validate degrees gained through ENEB. WES sent the following message to me:

Thank you for your application.

We regret to inform you that WES does not evaluate programs validated by Universidad Internacional Isabel I de Castilla but completed at the institution you attended. Because of this, we are cancelling your application. All academic documents submitted will be discarded to protect your privacy, and we will refund your full fee.

It's unclear why their stance changed, but it likely relates to the new option to test out for a degree. Earning a degree through one test isn't comparable to the traditional route of multiple courses. Offering both options devalues the traditional degree, similar to the "market for lemons" concept in economics.
