It's a non-credit certificate no different from a Coursera certificate. Why would anyone want to pay $3,800 when they can get the same education elsewhere for free?
When this program first came out a few years ago, they lied that this program granted UT alumni status. I checked with UT McCombs and this does not lead to any alumni status with the school. It's completely run by Great Learning with just a stamp from UT Austin. I see a lot of people on LinkedIn with this qualification who claim UT as their alma mater. It's like taking those HBS Online certificates and claiming they are "HBS Alumni".
