Has anybody heard of and/or looked into European Center for Education in Business and Science (ECEBiS)? It says on their website that they're accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) as a higher education institution, and it aligns with Level 8 of both the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) for lifelong learning. I'm wondering if that is actually legit and if US academic institutions or employers recognize it.

They are trying to get me to enroll at 50% for their DBA program in Finance. It, however, seems more like a private degree or private school for lifelong learning. I’m not sure how it would be recognized here in the USA academically.

How much is the DBA? Is it self-paced? Some online classes to attend?

It's a fully online program. It's suppose to take three years to complete. All the courses are online and the pace seems like a cohort or atleast structured where it must be done in exactly three years part-time. The cost runs a little over 20,000 Euros without a scholarship but they are offering me a 50% off flash discount to enroll by September 30th and they just sent the email yesterday so only 48 hours from the email to accept. They have another scholarship that is about 10,000 Euros if you submit a research proposal for your dissertation with your admissions application that they feel is worthy of a scholarship.

The cost seems a bit expensive for my budget. Do you have any suggestions for the same criteria but at a lower cost?

They do offer a monthly payment plan for around $300 when there is a 50% discount, which they sometimes offer in one form or another. They don't exceed the 50% threshold for discounts or scholarships.
