Thanks!

They accept ACE and CLEP. You must complete 30 credits at UMPI.

Were you able to work on transfer credits and add them into your degree after you had already started a session at UMPI? I'm still taking outside courses aiming for the TESU degree, but to be honest I'm also looking at UMPI as an option.

You can with permission from your advisor. You don't need to though. UMPI offers every course you need to complete all of their degrees. You're already paying UMPI so it doesn't make sense to pay for SDC or another provider. You can complete as many classes in a term as you can. There's no limit.

I think my biggest dilemma now is whether if I'm giving up the TESU route, cause I'm trying to rush and complete 8-9 more ACE courses before their new transfer policy kicks in. UMPI definitely interests me but I'm really inexperienced when it comes to academic writing and lots of writing would really become stressful for me and put me off. Actually, either way I'm really stressed lol cause there's such a tight deadline with TESU.

Oh and, if I'm going to compare TESU/ UMPI, I know the cornerstone and capstone in TESU would require a lot of writing and stuff too, so I guess it comes down to whether if doing ten courses at UMPI would actually be more simple than the cornerstone and capstone at TESU. Does anyone have thoughts about this?

Aiming for TESU BSBA-GM, ASNSM in Biology, ASNSM in Computer Science

You have to have permission to transfer credits after being enrolled? I started taking Sophia classes and didn’t know that Sad

Just an update I got A’a in both the courses I took at UMPI.

This is how it works at most schools. Once you're an enrolled student, they want you to take their classes. If you take classes outside of the school without permission, they may not accept the transfer credit. Also just because you take a course doesn't mean that there's a place for it on your degree audit. You should definitely speak to your advisor about this. They should have emailed you the degree audit sheet which shows what you have left to complete.

Yeah I know what I need to take because of degree audit and I looked at the transfer equivalence someone posted for Sophia so I matched those up for what I have to take still. So we can’t just send transcripts that sucks.

Reviewing the catalog is helpful with things like this.

I've sent over Sophia transcripts for courses I've completed since I enrolled and they won't evaluate them.

UMPI doesn't currently have computer science as an online (YourPace) degree option. Perhaps in the future. If you want a CS degree, you still need one from TESU.

But I see they are offering Management information system where do you get the courses if you said you have un limited access to any course.

Oh, for the MIS degree, yes, they'll have everything you need available online. You NEED to complete 30 credits through them so they don't want you taking classes through SDC or the like. Complete everything at Sophia and you should be good to go.
