UMPI student loans not impacted in federal pause

Many people across the US are confused right now. 

Dr. Rice has confirmed your Pell grants are okay. 

Please don’t turn this post into a political war. This is just to pass on information to tell students their loans are covered. 

I am writing to reassure all students that the announcement by the Office of Management and Budget of a pause in certain federal programs will not affect your Federal Financial Aid. The Department of Education has confirmed that funding for programs such as Pell Grants, Direct Loans, and work-study will continue as scheduled.

In other words, it's business as usual... Delays and other obstacles may happen, you just need to wait for the backlog or issues to be fixed or finish processing...
