I've asked a few questions about UMPI, and I have one more: Is there a lot of video content for there courses, or is it primarily text based?
I'm not very good at watching videos and have a poor attention span for things that aren't reading. Is UMPI a good option for this? How about Sophia, is it pretty video heavy?
With 20 hours per week of study time, (I know there are a lot of factors that go into speed) is it realistic to get 15 credit hours completed in two terms?

I can't speak for UMPI just yet, but Sophia does have some videos for some of their lessons. I must have done about 40 courses on Sophia over the last year and of those 40, maybe 10 of them had some videos for a few of their lessons in the course, give or take. I don't remember watching a lot of videos. Plus, when they were present, they were short, no more than 5-10 minutes. They were usually there to add a little more context to the lesson. It wasn't bad at all. I'm actually working on Workplace Writing II right now and there were like 4 or 5 short videos to watch about how to write persuasively, so not a ton.

I completed my UMPI degree before the switch to the new learning platform, and I only worked on nine different courses with content, so I can't really speak definitively on the subject. However, everything I needed was in text and pictures. I only watched a few videos when I was interested in the topic. There are many courses available, and some require watching videos, so you should research, both here and on the discord, the courses that you anticipate taking.
As for study time, it will vary greatly with the individual pace of the student and with the course. Some people work much faster than others, depending on the topic and type of work required, and some courses are faster and easier than others overall. I know that many people have completed 30 credits in a single 8-week session in 20 hours or less per week, while many others have taken three sessions or more. Again, I suggest that you research courses to determine how quickly you will progress through them. Best of luck!
