I'm sure most of you are aware by now, but there have been updates to the UMPI transfer database that went into effect on May 1, 2025. It appears that these changes may impact how transfer credits are evaluated especially for Study.com and Sophia credits. I was in the process of helping a friend get 90 transfer credits so I thought I'd share what I did while the wiki is being updated.
This link leads to a Google Sheet with every ACE course/provider that satisfies the GEC Requirement: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e...Zd/pubhtml Copy paste everything into a spreadsheet and convert it into a table. This will allow you to select your preferred providers. All expired ACE courses have been removed.
Thanks for composing these spreadsheets and letting us know what transpired, hopefully the classes can be used towards the 40 GEC and up to 60 electives for the BAS and BLS, the BA degrees may not be affected as much, the BBA (BABA) may be a different story. With careful and resourceful course provider planning, there still may be an option to transfer in the max of 90 credits and complete the final 10 at UMPI for residency purposes...

I actually completed this a couple hours ago. I forgot the BA major requirements were the same for all the BBAs so it didn't take that much time. I was going to wait till the morning to figure out the most "ideal" path, but it would be cool if others could take a look it.
My opinion is that BBAs are still viable. We lost a lot of flexibility though:
The most affected concentration was Accounting after losing 3 UL study.com courses. Minimum 10 required courses at UMPI
Supply Chain lost 2 courses: 1 LL (BUS 240) 1 UL. Minimum required 10 Courses at UMPI
Management/leadership technically lost 3 courses but a Coursera cert can cover one of those: 2 LL (one BUS 240) 1 UL. Minimum 6 required courses at UMPI
Marketing did not lose a course. In fact a Coursera course for BUS 440 would make it one less for a minimum 9 required courses at UMPI.
PM lost 2 LL courses (BUS 240) Minimum 7 required courses at UMPI.
Hey guys, I'm going to work on this is more later but I had a question. What minors should I be looking at for the BLS/BAS? Since I have all the data, it takes me about 2-3 minutes to create a "degreeplan" so feel free to give recommendations. I'm also going to redo the BBA stuff according to the UMPI catalog.
I originally did this in excel and copy pasted it into sheets. I did convert "All Gec" into a Table. If you want to search a specific provider, go to the Provider Column header, click the weird 3 bar menu, and look under filter by values. Using the Raw non GEC data, you can rapidly create a "degreeplan" using the filter formula as long as you know the course numbers.
I'm not as familiar with the non BBA courses. Is there a need to look at the other BAs?
I completed all the yourpace Minors, BA ENG, ACC, CRJ, PSY. My findings:
BA ENG has 2 concentrations: One is technically maybe viable and the other is not.
BA ACC is not viable. (different from BBA Accounting)
BA CRJ technically shouldn't be viable but is.
BA PSY has 3 concentrations: only the General concentration is viable.
I wasn't familiar with these majors, so I plugged in all the available Yourpace course offerings and removed all the courses that weren't required/not available via alt credit and Yourpace. I used the UMPI catalog for the specific degree info. The un-viable majors have required courses that are both not offered via Yourpace nor can be transferred in via alt credit. Does anyone have insight on this? Links are in the post above.
Are you sure the BA Accounting major has courses unavailable via YourPace? It's long been listed by UMPI and discussed here as being available by YourPace.
