UK Level 7/8 Diploma Questions

Hmm, I missed this thread for some reason or another, anyways, you may want to do a search for Level 7 Diploma options, I've created a few threads on them. For the level 7 option, you can go for the ENEB MBA/Masters combo and get an evaluation in the UK. In brief, I actually would recommend doing it a little differently, instead of a Level 7 (as I mentioned earlier), go for the level 8, specifically this one here for 'top-up' options later in Canada, UK/US: https://lcft.org.uk/level-8-diploma-in-s...-practice/

I saw this site mentioned with ENEB on the wiki, but I couldn't find much info on LCFT itself including foreign evaluation reports. If I were able to use my ENEB diploma (evaluated as Level 7, according to the wiki) to get this Level 8 from LCFT you linked to, would that resulting LCFT Level 8 be evaluated as a regionally accredited Master's or Doctorate from a NACES member in the US? Has anyone proven you can get into this level 8 course with ENEB?

I haven’t gone through all, but LSIB is not OFQAUL accredited because, in this case, it gets it’s accreditation authority from Scotland. OFQUAL only applies to England and Wales, and SQA is essentially OFQAUL’s Scottish equivalent. 

The way qualifications work in the UK, as for as I understand, is that OFQUAL or SQA doesn’t grant accreditation directly to a program, unless it’s through a university. Educational providers are recognized by agencies acting in proxy of OFQUAL and SQA and thereby given the power to grant accredited awards.

I don’t think a “level 8 diploma” is equivalent to a degree in any sense. It is rather unique because under the UK system, graduate credits can count towards a certain level of studies (e.g., level 8 = doctoral; level 7 = master’s) without earning a full degree.

Take a law conversion course as an example. If you complete 120 UK credits, you’ll receive something commonly known as a “(post)graduate diploma in law” which is essentially an LLM but ABD.

Similarly, then, a Level 8 Diploma means you’ve completed a good portion of doctoral coursework, but certainly not enough to be awarded a PhD. I’ve read that in many cases a Level 8 Diploma leads to preferential treatment in DBA programs in the UK and US, which means exemption from part of the coursework/externship.

Anyhow, what LISB offers is not a PhD, but rather a “shortcut” to a doctoral degree because they offer the level 8 diploma at a cheaper price and a shorter time span.

If you are considering transferring this into a US university for a DBA/PhD, note that it is fully accredited but you might need to check with the university to see if they accept coursework done with an education provider (not university).

Here's the basics: Qualifications awarded by EduQual, UK are under Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF.org.uk) - All other ones are from OfQual, you can verify approved awarding bodies from the link I have on post #8, I'll copy the link here for reference https://www.gov.uk/check-awarding-body-recognised

There is a difference between a Masters/Doctorate degree and a Masters/Doctoral studies, all the OfQual Level 7 are Master level studies, Level 8 are Doctorate level studies, they're courses you complete that can ladder into a Masters/Doctorate Top-up. By themselves, they are not a degree, they're just the first part of a two part series.

If you complete an OfQual Level 7, you can top up to a Masters, an OfQual Level 8, you can top up to a doctorate, the second part is completed at the receiving institution where you finish your degree, there are many UK/US institutions that will accept the Level 7 or Level 8 into their programs. Level 7/8 on the Scottish framework are different!

Is it possible to verify if a website belong to a real institution who's outsourcing customer service to India  from a website  claiming  that they are  accredited by qualifi  and posting link of accredited from qualifi  ,  I couldn't find anything on  qualifi  website that say who's institution give those diploma that's actually helping scammers who use qualifi as stroy co-operative to add legitimacy to there scamm   , please let me know if there's any way I can verify if a diploma on a website is accredited or not

This is a great point - I have the same question. 

Qualifi doesn’t seem to provide a list of approved teaching centres on its homepage. 

Other than the big names mentioned here (e.g., LSIB) - and that assurance comes from reputation - you cannot verify if a center is Qualifi accredited or not until you’ve received your diploma (the diplomas are verifiable through their homepage).

I assume the most basic way is to email Qualifi and ask if a center you’re interested in is approved..?

Essentially, CMI and/or OTHM has a searchable database of approved centres and most other UK OfQual recognized awarding bodies do not have a searchable database, thus, you need to email them.  Here's a thread to also review, post #19 has a link to my LRN price error example: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ty-of-Kyiv

In that post #19 link for LRN price error, it explains in detail the different frameworks for the UK/Scottish system, with pictures or a spreadsheet illustrating them, so you actually 'picture' what is mentioned.  Knowing different education systems around the world takes time... All you can do is review prospective schools website and research them.

Please review the ENEB WIKI, it doesn't transfer to any institution until you do an academic evaluation.  Once the foreign academic evaluation is completed with AICE or NACES member, it will transfer to all institutions we recommend and more.

And do eneb has any accreditationt that you  can check on a government website or accreditation buddy?

That first sentence on the accreditations webpage is all you need, the 'extra' info on accreditation and memberships are just that, it's extra icing on the cake and not as important.  ENEB is certified by University Isabel I and also part of ECTS... That's all I look for in a program from ENEB or elsewhere.

"All the certificates of our training programmes are issued by ENEB Business School and certified by the University Isabel I, which belongs to the European Higher Education Area and grants ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits in all the training programmes of the school."

do you know of anyone who get admitted to LCFT level 8 diploma without a master or level 7 diploma , just with experience

No, I have not, most of the people (including me) have a level 7 and gained admission to these level 8's... It's going to be hard to actually tell future employers why you don't have any other education other than a level 8, even if you get in... I highly suggest doing the ENEB MBA/Masters using my ambassador314 code, once done, do the level 8.
