Transcribe/ Banking credits
#1
Is there any school where you can transcribe (bank) courses per course rather than paying a price to transcribe up to a certain # of credits?

All of them seem to be 0-60 credits or up to 120 credits. I need to transcribe to courses and was hoping not to have to pay that much.

Have you checked to see whether any of the schools you have previously attended would be willing to put those courses on your transcript?

What kind of courses are they? Where did you take them? If it was at a school, then they are already transcribed (they're on the transcript). If they are ACE-recommended, then you can pull them onto an ACE transcript. If it's neither, then you would need to give more info so we can help.

Thanks for the response. I am a prior TESC (now TESU) student in 2009. I ended up transferring and graduating from Western Governors a few years later with a bachelor's. I am now working on accounting credits. I didn't realize that prior universities would transcribe credit after leaving.

I have a few accounting credits I need transcribed:

Clep Financial Accounting
Straighterline - Accounting 2

I am also planning to do Straighterline Management Accounting and Study.com for Management Accounting and Advanced Accounting. I know that TESU accepts these as credit but didn't realize until this morning that their pay per credit doesn't require the enrollment fee. Wondering if I reapply to TESU, if they would add to my current transcript there.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to try TESU.

When I took CLEP credits to get teacher certification in another subject added to my licensure, the (big flagship) state university whence I got my MA let me add those credits under the degree received date on my transcript.
