I just wanted to give an update, today I was able to get my 6 previously unaccepted Shmoop credits added to my transcript at TESU. After about a month of talking with people at TESU they finally today, confirmed they would accept them. Again these were credits that had previously NOT been preapproved by TESU. So my advice is not to give up on getting your credits. TESU told me no about 4 times before today.

When I talked to TESU today they did not provide any updates on the sitaution with Shmoop.
I'm going to guess that there are a lot of employees at TESU, most of whom are clueless about what's going on, so talking to Shmoop, who will be dealing with a single higher-up decision-maker at TESU is probably a better option to actually find out what's going on with this situation. If you can find the right person at Shmoop to talk to...

Shmoop is switching to proctoring according to a Shmoop email I received last week. Hopefully the courses taken in good faith without proctoring will be accepted again.
