I would not say it has been a complete failure, NYU does accept the courses through their School of Professional Studies for those majoring in information systems management.
https://www.sps.nyu.edu/homepage/academi...grams.html
So theoretically one could complete all four of the NYUx microbachelors and transfer in 24 credits. It does also say that you need to complete them with a certain grade.

That's nice that NYU accepts their own courses as transfer credit. The program is a failure because they intended to create portable RA credits that could be transferred to most major universities/colleges to satisfy degree requirements for the low price of approximately $166/credit. They failed to achieve that.

In this page https://www.tesu.edu/degree-completion/edx-credit says:
"The following MicroBachelors Programs by edX have been evaluated by Thomas Edison State University for credit:
Note: Students wishing to enroll at TESU may only use these credits toward the Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science program."
So that means that those credits won´t be useful for any other bachelor degree, not even as elective credits?

@MrPanda, not all of these courses are computer science related... they'll go in free electives or business core courses, so technically, yes, it'll come in as free electives depending on which degree you're going for. It's the naming/numbering each course comes in as, such as the ACC210 is Accounting, MAR201 is a Marketing, one thing to note, you can get ACE credit for most of these cheaper elsewhere...

I got 90% scholarships for 5 of those courses 1 year ago, and three of those courses are finishing in 31 Dec 21.
I got the discount on the 3 courses from the Computer Science Fundamentals MicroBachelors (these are the ones expiring) and 2 courses from the Introduction to Databases MicroBachelors.
I can ask for the scholarship again in january, for 5 more courses.
When I asked for the scholarship, I wasn´t even thinking about getting a Bachelor in TESU, but now reading that line ("Students wishing to enroll at TESU may only use these credits toward the Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science program.") confused me.
I´m currently advancing with some courses in SDC plus management courses in Saylor.org.
Maybe going for the BA in CS + AS in BA
Thanks for your help.

I suspect that TESU hasn't bothered to update the MicroBachelor page, except for adding more courses, since there were only 2 or 3 MicroBachelors listed. It makes absolutely 0 sense that ACC-210 and BUS-210 would ONLY apply to a Comp Sci degree. Same with FEL-199. I'm not even sure what FEL stands for here. Foreign English Language?
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

@MrPanda, how did you get that 90% discount? Are those country specific? Which country are you from? If you're taking the TESU BACS, are you going to take 16 credits for residency requirements or are you paying the residency waiver fee? There is a change possibly occurring in January and some of the courses will not be available for transfer from Study.com, it will only affect the BA Comp Science program, nothing else... Last but not least, if you're going for the 16 credits residency, I would suggest completing the BSBA vs an ASBA if you have the energy/time, as it shouldn't cost you extra if you play the courses correctly.

You can apply for financial assistance on most individual courses (up to 5 approvals in a 12-month period): https://support.edx.org/hc/en-us/article...assistance-
I'm hopeful that 2U won't remove this process or make it more difficult.
There is also the Macquarie Group Scholarship, which covers 100% of the cost of a single edX course: https://www.edx.org/macquarie-scholarship-application

I think FEL stands for Free Elective.
SDC has a Political Science class that is equivalent to "FEL-199 Special Topics Free Electives" at TESU: https://study.com/college/school/thomas-...rsity.html

I asked for Financial Assistance at edX, I just mentioned my current and future income, my job status at the moment, how those courses could benefit me, how those were relevant for my professional career, and how my community could benefit from that learning. I had two write 3 texts from around 1,500 words each. I´m in Peru.
"The study.com course review just ended and we will no longer accept these courses listed below as of 1/1. Students can submit transcripts for completed courses through 12/31."
Yes, I read about these Study.com courses not accepted at TESU BACS just yesterday at night:
Math 108: Discrete Mathematics
Computer Science 105: Introduction to Operating Systems
Computer Science 111: Programming in C
Computer Science 112: Programming in C++
Computer Science 115: Programming in Java
Computer Science 305: Operating Systems
Computer Science 306: Computer Architecture
(just in time, since I was about to start with Discrete math in 2 weeks)
I saw that somebody did a last term plan in order to not pay the residency fee and take enough courses in the last semester, taking into account the new situation, but I couldn´t find it.
Regarding getting BACS + BABA, I didn´t know about the possibility, I read the thread about the "Free add-on AA", and then the TESU + Saylor websites, mentioning how all requirements for the AABA could be completed taking 5 saylor exams. So that was going to be my plan so far.
