TESU is accepting Computer Science Fundamentals on edX as transfer equivalent for COS-104. Currently, the 3 credit MicroBachelors Program costs $350 on edX. From the article, it sounds like edX and TESU might work together on future offerings.

WGU has a 10 credit MicroBachelors Program on edX that currently costs $1,047.90. The 10 credits are equivalent to the courses Information Technology Foundations, Network and Security Foundations, and Scripting and Programming Foundations.

$350 is a bit steep for 3 credits (compared to other alternate sources) but hopefully this program expands.

TESU Reviews Two Additional Courses for College Credit for edX’s MicroBachelors Programs, Will Add Additional TESU Courses to Platform
TESU has been working with edx to grant college credit for MicroBachelors Programs, and claims that they will continue to do so. They also plan to offer TESU courses on edx. https://www.tesu.edu/news/1694352/tesu-r...ors-credit
There are now 4 MicroBachelors programs that TESU accepts for credit. https://www.tesu.edu/degree-completion/edx-credit
MicroBachelor Programs Credits TESU Course Equivalent Cost (as of 11/3/2020)
Computer Science Fundamentals (by NYU) 3 COS-104 $450 (regularly $500)
Introduction to Databases (by NYU) 3 COS-105 $448.20 (regularly $498)
Introduction to Information Technology (by WGU) 3 ITS-103 $899.10 (regularly $999)
Marketing Essentials (by Doane) 3 MAR-201 $446.40 (regularly $496)
These programs are more expensive than current alternatives, but I'm hoping they will come out with more unique courses soon.
This page on edx discusses who grants credit for the programs and how it shows up on a transcript. From the example, it looks like they are TESU Assessment Credits with a grade of CR. Does this mean that other colleges accept them the same as TESU courses or TECEPs? https://support.edx.org/hc/en-us/article...sity-FAQs-

But if they're able to fill a gap in someone's degree plan, or EdX starts offering some more niche, higher-level courses, these could be good value.

For what it's worth, you can apply for financial aid for those microbachelors classes, making them 90% cheaper. Also, the computer science fundamentals one was actually significantly less work than taking the comparable course at ASU. Also, they currently have a 100% scholarship that you can apply for, but they're 6-8 weeks backlogged for it. Finally, while TESU has only currently evaluated 4 of them for credit, there are 4 more currently being evaluated. The 2 additional ones from NYUx are "intended" to be worth 8 and 9 credits in programming and cyber security.

But I found MicroBachelor credits won't come with letter grades. TESU will give 'CR (credit)' grade for all of MicroBachelor courses so the credits won't likely transfer to any other institution. I have asked other universities' admissions. They said 'CR' grade is considered continuing education course so they can't accept that for transfer. I'm sending complaints about this to Edx. Hopefully, they will fix it. I think 98% of US institutions won't accept transfer credits without letter grades.
Here's how MicroBachelor course credit will look like on TESU transcript:
However, MicroBachelor credits can be used as general elective at TESU.

It's always up the institution if they want to accept transfer credits but "CR" is not equivalent to continuing education. It just means it was a pass/fail course.
