That's how colleges are. Changes are expected every single year at colleges. Just like life, colleges change. Imagine if they didn't and we were all stuck taking degrees issues centuries ago? Many of us would not be excited to study philosophy, math, or physics. Once you're enrolled, your degree program won't change, but fees always go up. That's nothing new. That's how it is in everything in life.
Thats true, now i rush so fast that im studying like crazy, I just want to finished this degree before something new comes with higher fees.

It looks like TESU just lowered out-of-state flat rate tuition from $4,928 to $4,639

So in other words: 'please take some courses with us'. Transferring 114 credits in is still possible, but not at all cost-effective.

It depends on what you're comparing it to. Let me know what you think is a cheaper alternative?

I'm confused. For flat-rate tuition, do study.com students pay the flat-rate at In-State prices or Out-Of-State prices if they're not in NJ?
Goals: TESU BSBA GM (Added CIS) and BA Computer Science
BSBA GM - Added CIS AOS (CIS & GM completed)
BACS & Grad Plans (BACS instead of BALS w/NSM)
AAS ACS & ESST: Remaining - Associate Capstone
ASNSM CS: Completed, ASNSM Math: Remaining - Calculus I
Taking a majority of credits at Sophia.org, SL, and Study.com to finish these degrees
Updating my courses remaining by following forum advice, guide, spreadsheet & wiki

I think flat-rate tuition negates the study.com partnership.

The flat rate tuition plan has always been separate from study.com discount. The study.com partnership only discounted the tuition-per credit plan (they offered SDC students 5% off in-state). You would pay the out of state flat rate tuition if you’re not a NJ resident.

Looks like the onlinedegreee.com discount is looking like a good deal now. Take one course from onlinedegree.com and get 5% off TESU courses. Previously I believe this couldn't be applied if you also got the study.com discount. But for new students it is better than nothing if you can't get the study.com discount.
Plus onlinedegree courses are only $9. So spend $9 and save a few hundred.
And if you already live in NJ then than this discount puts it as the same as the old sdc discount. So for NJ folks this new TESU change isn't a big deal.

Tuition Rate Change
Effective July 1, 2020, new students will no longer be accepted into the Study.com partnership with the tuition reduction benefit. All Study.com students who apply by June 30, 2020, will continue to receive the partnership's tuition reduction, providing their student accounts remain current as per University policies.

Gosh, blow after blow. I've applied to TESU and am a student there before 1 Jul' 20, but not yet registered with SDC(Study.com).
Do I also need to be registered with study.com before 1 Jul 20' or will I still be entitled to the discounts?
Completed TESU BA in CS & Math
Target grad school: OMSCS, or UoTA MOCSO. (Contemplating research)

You needed to have the SDC discount on your account prior to last July or else you do not get the discount.
