So I upgraded my account and started the process to take my first exam with Study.Com ... how exciting ... till I failed the bandwidth test ... and kept failing it ... I hard wired my laptop to the router and turned off eveything wireless in my house, to no avail.
I'm in the UK which is known for rubbish internet, but this is ridiculous. I've had no issues with ProctorU.
Anyone else out there had this issue? Did you manage to fix it?
I shall attempt another morning as that's when internet is faster, but really I should be able to take this test whenever.
Lots of smart people on here, hopefully someone can help

No advice, but I'm surprised/sorry to hear this.
I thought I would run in to trouble because my wife/son were watching Netflix in a separate room when I started my exam, but it withstood that so I'm surprised you're having trouble after it was able to work through such a drain. Any idea what your typical up/down speed is?

Did a separate test afterwards and my download was 12.7 Mb and upload was 1.2 Mb ... and yes that's broadband where I am, and I think that was faster than what Study.Com was showing

That's not great, but should be enough...
Quote:Broadband Internet; 1Mbps or higher
What technology does Study.com support? : Study.com
Not sure what options there are for you. Maybe contact Support and see if there's anything they can work out?

"Must have at least 200kb/s (.2mb/s).upload speed"

I contacted Study.Com and was told to use Chrome.
It worked great and the speed was perfect

Great! Glad that took care of it. Going through all of those quizzes and not being able to get the final payout would have made me pull out all of my hair.
