My personal opinion about this test is that InstantCert IS enough to get a good score. That is disagreeing with others who have obtained a higher score, but I got a 65 myself, so that's something. Not a perfect score, mind you, but at least an A at Excelsior (55 or better). I did not have access to the Idiot's Guide. I did look through Statistics Demystified from my public library the night before the test and I think that it could have been very helpful had I had more time, but it really was too much to try to take in the night before.
Anyway, the long and the short of it is that I fully believe that if you did nothing but study IC *and* understand the material, you would have no problem passing this test.
