Hello,
Anyone have experience on Shmoop College Credit? https://www.shmoop.com/college-credit/
It is about $88 monthly + $23 for each proctored test. If I able to take 4 tests each month, the cost for each course is only about $45, way cheaper than most credits out there.
But what school will accept the credits?
My target school is either TESU or COSC.
Thank you.

TESU no longer accepts Shmoop unfortunately. As far as I know COSC still does.

Also I believe for COSC you dont even need to pay for proctoring so it's even cheaper.

I got an email from COSC.
Quote:Thank you for your interest in Charter Oak State College! Students outside the U.S. are able to take classes with COSC, but there are a few extra steps involved. I will include a link below with some information about how to have international transcripts evaluated prior to applying. We are not currently able to accept credits from Shmoop. If you have any additional questions please let us know.
It is very unfortunate, because Shmoop courses is quite cheap.

In December they were still accepting Shmoop. I wonder if something's changed like TESU, or if this is another case of an admissions counselor being unfamiliar with alt credit.

I'm going to guess that it's either the fact that there's no proctored final required, or the person is unfamiliar with ACE.

At least now you guys have a non-western lit from Study.com to help. Back when TESU quit taking Shmoop we didn't even have that
