Also, my understanding was all the micro bachelor's programs cost at least $100 per credit to be put on a transcript. What am I missing?
You're not missing anything, the Verizon option doesn't have these classes available for free... I tried both my accounts, one with Verizon and the one I used for EdX MicroMasters for TESU. There are no freebies that can be done for credit on the Verizon one when I tried a few months ago, I haven't tried now... Thanks BJ!

Edit Reason: grammer
)
I can confirm my CS50x cert (2022 Harvard Open, that free one "costs nothing", I'm 99.99% sure its the exact same course load as Edx), and the link to the ACE guide page (
https://www.acenet.edu/National-Guide/Pa...0d3a33232a) got me 3 credits (Programming) + 1 credit (IT/NatSci Lab), in a pre-assessment
IMHO this was "the hardest" course I have done to get "free" credits (and I got .. alot of em, when I could), just so I dont give the impression its a fast/easy 4 "free" credits (but that lab credit though... sweet)

which school ?
and how did it work ?
did you just email the link to a counselor ?
did you have to send a copy of your free cs50 certificate to the school or counselor ?

Edit Reason: PS note
)
I got an ok from an Excelsior rep and a few other actual advisors.
"physically" dialing the office and asking + detailing the course/links + sharing urls (the cert has a "verify" url on it also). and they generally said "yep, I see that its accredited" (paraphrasing, but they basically read back the ACE page credit section "word 4 word")
"The Big Ask" now, is a residency free option, now the the "old" PP-CCTC BOG is defunct as an option (Please, forgive my ignorance of "stuff", I am fully self taught 1-man'ing this run of mine)
PS: Same convo's, I generally got "OAC Politics" (Ontario's old "academic credit/13th grade", which is seen as a 100-series "intro to politics" 3 SH/Credits) okay'ed as accepted
