IS Parchment or Credly faster?
Parchment was sent the same day and UMPI received it the same day. That doesn't mean it's processed that day. It takes several weeks for the Registrar to process all of your transcripts when you apply.

Nothing is instant. It may be sent right away but it's not received instantly. Parchment took a few hours to be sent and received by UMPI. I have personally tested Credly being sent to my institutional email. It does send within a few minutes. I usually got the Credly transcript sent to the "school contact" which was my email within the time the page reloaded.
However, UMPI isn't taking Credly anymore as they don't take "badges" anymore according to some recent Facebook posts. My friend just sent his transcripts through Credly and got his eval back today! I confirmed that he did use the “send transcripts” and not send badges. Maybe that’s what’s not accepted. Would you happen to know how long ago your friend sent his transcripts? I’ve been waiting a little over 2 weeks and still no evaluation. He sent his about 1 week and a half ago. You should reach out to someone in the registrars office because when I was was in the process of enrolling, it took over a month for my eval to get back to me and when I reached out they said they somehow overlooked my transcripts, they did my eval right away after that.

It takes several weeks for the Registrar to evaluate transcripts. When you're applying, they wait for all of your transcripts to arrive. They are really busy this time of year so it can take a bit longer. Once it's done, you'll get an email and you can see it in your MaineStreet account. A hard copy is also mailed to you on orange paper.

I get that. I have two transcripts outside of Credly that were sent over and according to Parchment, those have been received. I'm seeing folks get theirs evaluated a lot sooner than mine. I just want to make sure that I don't fall out of place. Besides, I tried to contact the Registrar's office and all I get is a busy line.

It took over 3 weeks for mine to be evaluated once all of them were received last August. They're REALLY busy the month of August because the on campus students are getting ready to arrive as well. The Registrar works at 2 UM campuses not just UMPI. If it's been a few weeks, then check in with your academic advisor.

I'll wait 'till next week, the 3rd week, to get impatient. LOL. I don't know who my academic advisor is so I've just been calling the registrar's office.

Have you set up your MaineStreet? Your academic advisor probably emailed you right after you were accepted.

I have set up my MaineStreet. I've received only 2 emails both from notifications@maine regarding faculty announcements and dates and deadlines.

Then my guess is that they haven't fully processed your evaluation. Keep in mind that the Registrar works part time on 2 campuses. Also UMPI's offices are closed on Fridays during the summer. Some of them still do some work on Fridays, but not everyone.
Your academic advisor sends the initial email to the email address you supplied in your application. Might want to check through your spam box and inbox to see if something was missed. It will come from an @maine.edu email address. I don't know if everyone has the same academic advisor in YourPace.

Just an FYI but I did the parchment service for Sophia and SDC, confirmed that percentages were sent and was just informed by Jessica at UMPI that there is no way to place these numeric grades in their system on my transcript.
Here is her exact answer;
Unfortunately, We have no way of doing that in our system. I'm not sure what the students were referring to but we do not put percentages on our transcripts.
I am sorry for the confusion and the mis-information. We will let Study.com and Sophia know how their courses appear when transferred to our transcripts.
I'm not doubting that they did it for you, just letting others know that it appears they aren't willing to do it going forward, it's pass/fail only.

FYI On MY transcripts numeric grades are shown from Sophia. I also graduated last year and a lot has changed since then Jessica is also not the person who handles transcripts. I didn't ask for the numeric grades. That's how the Registrar processed my transcripts.
