Sophia Transfer Question

Has anyone transferred in the below Sophia courses successfully?
Sophia Operations Mgmt. BUSI2030 to satisfy BUS 415 Operations Mgmt..
Sophia Human Resource Mgmt. BUSI1080 to satisfy BUS 321 Human Resource Mgmt..
Sophia Workplace Writing II ENG1020 to satisfy ENG 121.

Workplace Writing II will indeed transfer to ENG 121. The other two will transfer as electives.

Thanks for that. My plan is to do the BAS with the management and business admin minors. I’m guessing if they’ll transfer in as electives, they’ll be able to be applied towards those minors as well.

Basically, if you've not completed the classes before the May 1, 2025 update... I think the classes won't be usable towards the minor, only in the 60 credits you have for electives if you're doing the BAS. I would contact them to verify just in case...

Essentially, for now, make sure you have all your general education and electives filled in with the max classes you can transfer, if you haven't already done so. They should have an evaluation for you, showcasing the requirements remaining highlighted.

I transferred in 144 credits between Sophia, TEEX and Coursera in the summer last year. I was planning to do these last 3 now to free up some slots in the 30 RA credits for a third minor (poli sci). I asked my advisor so let’s see.

I got confirmation from UMPI on how these transfer into UMPI from Sophia:

Oh, they did make the changes earlier this month, 5/1/2025 and not accepting many of the Sophia.org and Study.com for transfer into the major. For people starting out at UMPI using alternative credits for transfer... General education and electives shouldn't be affected, thus, max those up to 90 credits and you're good to go.
