Hey, I thought I was ready for the english comp w/ essay test. So I registered to take it in less than a week. I took the petersons practice exam and I've been getting a 50-55% max. What did you guys use to study for this exam?

Strunk and White baby, Strunk and White. Their elements of style will get you through the multiple guess portion.
For the essay, take the most progressive/left wing take on the topic you can (write for your audience of far left college professors )hilarious
Use the generic 5 paragraph opening-supporting-supporting-supporting-conclusion format.
Don't think about it to hard. Those 45 minutes fly. Jot down a thesis, 3 supporting details, and get-a-writ'in.

The biggest thing that helped me was to practice writing essays! It was a little harder than I expected to finish in 45 minutes.
