Do they just check your transcripts to see if you graduated? I just sent off my transcripts to them. I graduate with an AA at the end of this semester. My transcript from the local CC doesn't show that I've graduated yet. Is it likely that they will deny me because of this?
They check the Clearinghouse to see if you are enrolled or have graduated with a degree. You're also ineligible if you are already enrolled in another degree program.
From the College Foundation of West Virginia site: " Admission Requirements:
Students are eligible for admission to the program two years after high school graduation. Students must not hold a degree from an accredited institution nor be enrolled simultaneously in another degree program." https://secure.cfwv.com/Home/Board_of_Governors.aspx
Sorry, bud. I don't think you are going to be able to squeak through.

Yes it’s based off of your transcripts, if they say you graduated then you won’t get it. Timing is key.

Probably not, but make sure getting the BOG AAS doesn't mess up getting your degree from the CC.

Thank you to everyone for all the information you have shared. I received my Pierpont AAS BOG diploma in the mail yesterday! I am 48 years old and to finally have a degree is an amazing feeling. Nancy Parks and everyone involved with the school is amazing. I was able to transfer all of my classes in with no issues. Good luck to everyone else in the process. Don't give up.

I'm undecided about my son's AAS BOG. He has everything complete, but Nancy hasn't confirmed this. I sent her an email (as him) asking for her confirmation and she replied "I did your evaluation in July, look back at previous emails." Which I did, very carefully, and she specifically said she would do a reeval of science (he has more than enough) and computer (not sure- he has 4 cr. TEEX). I sent a very nice and polite request, but I want to reach through the computer and strangle this woman. He missed the graduation deadline and we still don't have an answer for sure.

I feel your pain, I really do. When I complete this in the next few months I am going to write an all-encompassing review of the process along with dates and times. Including Evalues and re-evalves.
It's the most frustrating academic procedure I have ever dealt with.

Congrats to all of the new Pierpont grads. As a 2017 graduate of this program, I can totally relate to the excitement that you all must be feeling.
It is a great sense of accomplishment, and it is a stepping stone for most of us, that motivates us to head to the next adventure in our education.
Reading all of these news articles lately about the thousands of people that are so deeply in debt on student loans sure makes me happy that I found this forum, and met all of you.

Which teex courses he take? This is how they transfer there
Cyber Security for Business Professionals came in as BUSN 1999
Cyber Security for Everyone came in as INFO 1999
Cyber Security for IT Professionals came in as INFO 1999
I am not sure if those were used to satisfy my computer requirements or not. I can't log into Felix to see if I can find out.
I sent Nancy an email Wednesday and haven't gotten a reply yet. That is the first time I had that happen. I hate seeing some people have had problems. From beginning to end it went smooth for me.
It may just be a generic degree to most but it's a lot for me. I'm 41 right now and finally have a college degree. I am the first person in my family to get a degree. My wife has a bachelor's she got before we were married. From my mom's side I was the first to get a high school diploma. I have some cousins from my dad's side that finished high school before me but they never went to college.
