Wanted to give you guys a heads up. The phone number for the registrars office does not work. The number listed in google for Pierpont is actually the wrong number. That number takes you to Fairmont state.
If you need to reach Pierpont this is their correct phone number. 304 367 4907

So I was wondering if that's what shows on the diploma. If anyone has a pick of it feel free to share! Here is mine. I am a 2017 grad.
ChilliDawg-- do you recall how long it took you to receive your degree in the mail?

Just saw this, sorry!
I had the 12 credits already.

I think that people on the board should start sending Nancy Parks fruit baskets because she is a hero.

From my understanding, there is no waiver for the 12 B&M credits. Maybe TECEP/UExcel/CSU Global?
You need at least a 2.0 GPA, so at least 1 class has to be graded (UExcel?).
One of my B&M classes that was counted was a remedial algebra class that was pass/fail.
My College Composition CLEP only counted for English I. My second English credit came from the Tech Writing DSST.
The Information Systems CLEP doesn't count (it's not on my transcript).
TEEX InfoSec for Everyone and InfoSec for IT Professionals DOES (comes in as INFO 1999, as did my Hacking & IR class).
TEEX InfoSec for Business Professionals comes in as a BUS elective, as does the 1 credit Sophia freebie.
A&I Lit CLEP also didn't make the transcript cut.
ALEKS PreCalc comes in as remedial math (MATH 0080), same with Beginning Algebra. College Algebra comes in as normal (MATH 1212).
They took EVERYTHING off my JST (38 credit hours!!!). It all came in as MILT 1998.
Astronomy DSST came in as SCIE 1999.
AoS is only available if you have 15 GRADED credits in a subject. No AoS shows up as "General Studies".
It took just over 2 months for Pierpont to put all my credits into the system (5 or 6 transcripts). 82 credit hours.
My wife applied about a month after I did. Our transcripts populated the same week (she only had 1 transcript, though). 67 credit hours.
I sent and received probably a dozen or so emails from start to finish. Ms. Parks usually responded back within an hour. 24 hours at most. I never had to call her.
Quig, help me understand something. Do you mean:
remedial math taken at a B&M counts towards the residency requirement BUT doesn't count toward the degree
OR
remedial math taken at a B&M counts as residency requirement AND it counts towards the degree?

Just to clarify, the class was "Intro Developmental Algebra II" that I took from Central Texas College in 1996. It came in as MTH 0080. Oddly, ALEKS Beginning Algebra (taken before it expired last year) and PreCalc(??!) also came in as MTH 0080.

Sigh, I have no idea if that would mean for my oldest son or not. He also has a MAT080 on his CC transcript, however, it's only 1 credit. He has ALEKS Beg. Alg too, but still, he is shy CC credits required no matter how this plays out.
He has 7 earned /passed /graded CC credits, and a 10 credit semester which he withdrew from- from there he took a boatload of SL courses. I'm just trying to figure this in my head and see where he'd be and what he'd need.
I'm 99% sure I'm going to send in my 2nd son's work so he can pick this AAS up for fun. He's working on his bachelor's but he has everything for this, and it might encourage son #1.
