Everyone does things differently, it really depends on how people take information in and process it... My suggestion is to see what you are good at while you're doing your Sophia.org and Study.com combo. Once you get the hang of things, then when you work on UMPI, it'll come to you in a similar way, you'll see which steps you used for Sophia.org or Study.com and any other ACE/RA credits you've taken... There really isn't a one size fits all model, you tweak it to fit your style...

BUS 220 is relatively straightforward, and BUS 325 is more challenging.
If you have any experience with financial statements, it makes them quite a bit easier.

I believe I satisfied the requirements for BUS 245 and 345 with a couple of Coursera certs.

WEEK 8 (END)

MAT 140 - Mathematics for Business
BUS 200 - Intermediate Business Computing
BUS 220 - Managerial Accounting
BUS 240 - Change Management
BUS 325 - Financial Management
BUS 260 - Leadership
BUS 244 - Management Information Systems
BUS 321 - Human Resource Management
BUS 330 - Marketing Management
BUS 335 - Organizational Behavior
BUS 415 - Operations Management  (SDC / CREDLY TRANSCRIPT SUBMITTED)
BUS 440 - Business Analytics
BUS 469 - Strategic Professional Communication
BUS 489 - Business Policy & Strategy
BUS 245 - Programming for Managers (MIS MINOR)  (COURSERA / CREDLY TRANSCRIPT SUBMITTED)
BUS 345 - Database Management (MIS MINOR) (COURSERA / CREDLY TRANSCRIPT SUBMITTED)
BUS 359 - IT Project Management (MIS MINOR)

I managed to remain productive between Fall I and Fall II. SDC and Coursera made a few bucks off me. I disappeared into my office for two weeks, only to emerge with two certifications and three more classes finished, pending transfering credit approval.

Also trying to get a cert to cover 440, but there are complications.... IBM, Coursera, and ACE apparently don't communicate very well. Plus, 440 covers a MAOL class, so I might as well take it @ UMPI.

I did 415 via a study.com class. BUS 312 over there, if memory serves.

240 and 244 were not hard. Maybe 24 actual hours of work each.
260 was challenging because the professor was demanding, and grades returned slowly.
321 was the hardest actual class— 36 hours of actual work.

Of course, our mileage may vary depending on your ability to write quickly and your prior exposure to the subject matter.
