I like that they're focusing more on the programmer's mindset and way of thinking to solve problems before jumping into coding. Granted, I dabbled with python before this and already practiced logic games and binary/hexadecimal a bunch before this.
When I left a comment on the in class thread about working ahead or supplementing my studies they responded basically implying that it was bad habits and bad for learning. I guess they just assume everyone is an inexperienced freshman with no background knowledge/experience.
I think that's a bit silly. More and more students are entering university having at least dabbled with computers in the past. Sigh. More time to complete XAMK courses, I suppose.

I messaged them and explained my case.
How did you do that? That totally makes sense. But I don't know who to message or where.

There's a Light blue and white chat icon in lower right corner that looks like a chat bubble with a smiley face.

Did 3 lessons of this course so far, each took less than 1 hour.
The quizzes on this course are straightforward, unlike other courses they offer. I got near perfect only missing 1 question so far.
Same as other courses, only the 1st video matters in each lesson, can ignore the others as they just mainly repeat what was in the 1st video and none of the questions on the quizzes come for these videos.
The guy in the video talks slow, 2x speed is what I'm using.
