I have done the majority of the classes I can do on Sophia. I only have 2 left I can take but they both have touchstones which I am not a huge fan of.
the 2 classes are:
IT Leadership Foundations
Sophia = *BUSI1013 (SOPH-0054)
SDC = *Business 107 (SDCM-0009) or Business 307 (SDCM-0053)
and
Scripting and Programming - Foundations
Sophia = *CS1101 (SOPH-0062)
SDC = *Computer Science 109 (SDCM-0214), Computer Science 112 (SDCM-0198), or Computer Science 115 (SDCM-0199)
I guess my question is have you taken these classes and would you recommend doing them through Sophia or SDC. I know Sophia requires a touchstone for both the "Scripting and Programming - Foundations" doesnt seem terrible. the "IT Leadership Foundations touchstone" seems pretty bad however.
Just wanted others' opinions. Regardless I need to subscribe to SDC at some point because there are quite a few classes i can do on there.

I would say don't be afraid of touchstones. Yes they're annoying but they're like vegetables, they can be good for you and once you start, they're not so bad.

*Looks in the fridge, grabs some veggies* *Munches on mini carrots*. @Omece, My guess is you're trying to get these transferred into WGU's program? Which one in particular? Sophia.org first then go Study.com, a 1+2 combo for max credit transfer...
I would max out the subscription for Sophia.org first and only take courses at Study.com that you can't at Sophia.org... my suggestion is to create a spreadsheet for your degree program, get all the Sohpia.org courses transferable into the program on your spreadsheet, then add the ones for Study.com...

Hey thanks for following up. I have already made an excel doc the two courses I listed are the only 2 I have left I can complete at Sophia. I guess my question was more leaning towards should I take them on Sophia or on SDC. Both of those courses require a touchstone through Sophia at the end and I wasn't sure what they would be like on SDC. Essentially would they be easier to complete through SDC because the touchstone for the "IT Leadership Foundations" course looks horrible.
