New DBA on Upgrad by ESGCI

The course is 100% online and takes 36 months to complete. The course costs around USD 10,000. 

According to the Upgrad webpage, ESGCI is an accredited leader in business education, offering a fully online DBA program that combines affordability, quality and support. The DBA is the terminal degree in the field of business administration and allows those who complete the program to use the title of “Dr.”. ESGCI is accredited by French National Accreditation, French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and Qualiopi French State certification which ensures high-quality training and skills development.

I am not sure what a terminal degree mentioned on the Upgrad webpage is though. And I've never heard of the school Ecole de Commerce International (ESGCI) before.

This looks like a decent deal. The one thing I am curious about though is what good Wharton's certification adds to it for another $2k.

LOL, I looked at them again.  The pricing for the program varies significantly, it's $20K USD direct from Upgrad, if you go from a partner, it's 800K INR/10K USD here: Doctorate of Business Administration | ESGCI (talentedge.com)

Sorry for the late replay. But why am i not surprised i can not find it in the French Ministries website under recognised/registered Educational Institutions;

I seem to spot a pattern when it comes to Upgrad. This is not the first time.

I also went to check with the German national repository Anabin: https://anabin.kmk.org/no_cache/filter/i...ionen.html ..and i can not find a hit for ESG or ESGCI, which is usually a bad sign if they do not even have it listed.

I gave another go with the ESG domain for recognised Business schools;

And on the ministries website all the institutions that award Phd's;

All of the websites are official websites used by the Government/State in France from the ENIC-NARIC body.

The problem is that the second link you posted deals with ;

The first link is dated from back in 2008 for École supérieure de gestion et de commerce international de Paris on the address "25 rue Saint Ambroise 75011 Paris". Which is also not related.

As i express in my past post ( and since my posts i got an email about these from the ENIC representative)  ESG/ESGCI need to be listed in the two links i provided;

and then find if they are listed by the Government for Doctorates on this link:

But since we are dealing here with DBA-s they probably are not regulated in the first place so no oversight is needed from the Government. But the qualification verification remains questionable on the labor market.
