Need help on Essay component of US history 1
#1
Hi! I'm going to try and take the US history 1 w/essay soon and was wondering if any of you had any tips on how to study for the essay component. I've seen the suggestions for the exam part but I have not seen anything about the essay yet.
Any help would be much appreciated!

?? US History 1 doesn't have an essay. Are you taking the AP History exam??

SRParnell, I think I understand where the confusion is coming from. I do not think that there is an official essay portion of the US History 1 and 2 CLEP. Your school does indeed have an essay requirement, but it appears to be a locally generated essay.

In short your school, Oklahoma State Univeristy, has some means of factoring their scored essay into the CLEP score to achieve a pass or fail score. No one here will have any idea what your essay requirement will be. I suggest contacting your school testing office and inquiring further about the essay component.

Once you have more information, I'm sure that the forum will be more than willing to help you find information on whatever topics you may need to learn about. That information must come from the school however. OSU even states that you must take the US History CLEP at their school in order to earn credit.

Again, the essay requirement is unique to your school specifically.

Management, Accounting, Marketing, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics

DSST exams passed:
Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Statistics, Management Information Systems

Earned:
B.A. in Business Administration: Technology Management from Saint Leo University

M.S. in Leadership: Business Ethics from Duquesne University [/SIZE]
