Hello, I currently have 19 Credits that have transferred into Pierpont. (even though I sent my Parchment transcript from Sophia) Out of the 19, 16 are from WGU and 3 are from a local community college.
My current WGU credits say 41, and 9 of them are from Sophia and 4 are from the google it coursera credit.
I decided to resend my wgu transcript today, and also send my offical Credly transcript which I believe has over 30 credits on it.
I'm confused and I haven't been able to receive a response from Nancy.
With the information you provided, it is 41 credits from what you currently have, in addition to an extra 30 Credits on Credly? Did you not send them all in already? Did you not go into ROAR and look up your unofficial evaluation? Please attach a screenshot of the unofficial evaluation as it's confusing if you have enough or not, the only way to tell is from that evaluation. If courses are missing, still apply, and make up the courses while waiting for notification of graduation... As per my post yesterday, your application deadline is tomorrow! I sent my Sophia credits via Parchment, and my WGU credits via the National Clearinghouse. My credits from Sophia weren't received by Pierpont for some reason. WGU has my credits listed as 41 but 9 of them are from Sophia, and they only accepted 4 out of 12 from the Google IT Certificate. Today, I resent my current WGU transcript and my Credly transcript since parchment didn't work.
I checked my ROAR and looked at the unofficial transcript and it's saying only 19 of my credits from WGU transferred in, instead 28 (but I believe that might be because my grades hadn't posted on the last transcript I sent)
WGU Credits: 28

Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to be able to make the December graduation. It takes at least a few days for them to get the transcripts entered into the system. I think you'll have to wait for the March graduation now.

I got this email yesterday saying that transcripts are still being looked at:
If you are receiving this email it is because you are listed as an "active" student in the Board of Governors degree program for Fall 2023.
The graduation application deadline for this semester is this Friday, October 6.
If you have not already applied for graduation, please complete the attached and return to the Assistant Registrar, Lisa Phillips, copied.
Many of you have already applied for graduation and some of you may not yet meet degree requirements until a later semester. In those cases, you do not need to submit a graduation application.
If you think you MAY be eligible and you still have transcripts in process, go ahead and submit a graduation application just in case.
Note: Your completing a graduation application is NOT a guarantee of eligibility...just a safeguard in place if you do.
If you've already graduated with this degree in a previous semester, please keep in touch. I love hearing your success stories.
That's the same thing I posted in my reply post #2 link. Just follow the steps I had in post #2, apply, add more Sophia.org classes to it. You've not completed the addendum and template, are you working towards a degree after that? Such as laddering up to the UMPI BAS or BLS, something like that?

I am unsure if you will make it for the Dec graduation, today is the limit. You will probably graduate next May. In the meanwhile, you could continue doing sophia courses. Saylor has several computer programming ones. If you know the topic very well, just go straight for the practice exam without completing the prior units. If you score above a 75 on the practice exam, you will likely pass the proctored one. Costs 5 USD and if you pass, the badge appears in your credly account very soon. Pierpont accepts saylor badges for their BOG degree. They accepted my Geography exam.
Isn't the Google IT course worth 12 credits instead of 3? Maybe I am not seeing well on the screenshot.
If the credits are not being reported correctly, feel free to contact Nancy when you get your email working. The system didn’t give me 12 credits for my ACTFL Spanish exam but I showed proof of my scores and the actfl website showing what each exam is worth and the registrars fixed it the next day.
Update: I reached out to Nancy via the school provided email address and got a very helpful response! I wasn’t getting a response before because I used a personal address. I applied for the graduation as a precaution and she did inform me that it was OKAY if my transcripts hadn’t been processed yet, and then stated that I would need an additional 8 credits before December 8th, however I still have 12 that haven’t been input into ROAR but that’s because the transcript with them hasn’t been received yet.
My Sophia credits were finally put in yesterday though. The issue was with using Parchment instead of credly.
That's good news, you've got to update us with a screenshot to make sure you've got the credits properly, that's why I mentioned you can apply, send in transcripts and you'll be able to graduate in December as long as you've got everything in by late November. You don't want to delay until Dec 8, always a week or more before deadlines... Update us with your evaluation, let's see what is missing for those 8, could be free electives...
