I am trying to find a syllabus for this, but have not found it yet. Also, how did you guys enroll, on the phone? Are there proctored exams/forum posts required? It sounds exciting.

Nevermind, I found the syllabus. Too bad that our son cannot do it because you have to be at least 15 years old. The course sounds so interesting that I myself have a hard time saying no to it. But without any real use for graduate credits, maybe I should spend the money elsewhere and get a massage instead.

Haha. I love it.
This is pretty cool, anyone checked to see if HES will apply it to their own MLA Graduate degree?

This is probably the better value proposition. If a person had taken the Fall course for $200, the entire certificate would have been $800. As it stands, going forward, three of the four courses would be $600 and the last would be full price unless Harvard offers the fall course again.

I think i would have done it at $800, probably worth is at $3600.

Looks like there is a distribution requirement for the American cult/lit certificate, 2 in humanities and 2 in social sciences (at full cost).
99% sure I'm gonna give this summer course a shot. (I've even recruited a certain partner in crime to take it with me) :0
Goal is to get the 15 grad level credits I would need to teach English at the CC level (I have retirement fantasies that involve a liberal arts campus and eager young people that hang on my every word...a guy can dream right?). I am crazy busy in life so we will see if things work out beyond this first course (heck, lets see if I can stay in the first course). We should start a thread on here for those enrolled. https://www.summer.harvard.edu/courses/p...-hop/33942
