I have 13 college credits and to join the Marines I need 15 since I have a GED.
I need to know the easiest test to take because I have 3 days to study. I bought Barrons CLEP study guide and it only has like 5-6 subjects to look over so its kind of lame.
Anyway I havent been in school for like 4 years, and the 13 credits I earned were this past semester but just blow off classes so I got the credits.
Someone please help me so I can enlist!!!!!

What was your best subject growing up?
Math? Science? English? Technical?
I would say first, figure out your best subject, then look for the relevant CLEP exams, and weigh your options from there.

But looking over sociology a lot of people take that. Is there anyway I can find good free places to get the information I need?? Are the IC flash cards or whatever free??
Like I said I have 3 days to study so I just need the best info asap. If anyone can help me out on where I can get information, or a pretest I would appreciate it very much!!!

Just go to
InstantCert.com: Leader in Online CLEP and Dantes Exam Preparation and you will log in, click clep & dantes students and then you will see a tab for the course list.
Good luck and wish you the very best.

You made no mention of being able to take DSST. Is this an option?
Possible easy CLEP tests:
-Principles of Management: I managed a restaurant for a couple of years. If you have similar experience, you might find this one simple enough.
-Info Systems and Computer Applications: If you know about computers and networking, take this test.
-Intro to Sociology: Seems simple enough, and only 150 question on IC to boot. Should be doable in 3 days.
All things being equal, I'd say Intro to Sociology.
CLEP exams passed:
Management, Accounting, Marketing, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics
DSST exams passed:
Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Statistics, Management Information Systems
Earned:
B.A. in Business Administration: Technology Management from Saint Leo University
M.S. in Leadership: Business Ethics from Duquesne University

Once you figure out which one, you need to schedule to take the test! The Test Centers around where I live want you to schdeule at least 7 days before the date. They wont allow a date before 7 day period!!
Is it like that for the rest of you?

For CLEP and DSST, if you get to know the people that run the test center, and explain what you are doing and that you will be taking quite a few exams, you may find them quite accommodating. If not, it may be worthwhile to find another test center. I ended up with a test center more than thirty miles from home, just because the guy there is much more cooperative. I had him proctor my TECEP and he will do my Penn Foster exam too. For ECEs, the process is more formal, and you simply have to schedule the exams on the Pearson Vue web site.
