Yesterday I spent hours doing FEMA tests.
First one, IS-1, I did the right way, read the pdf file, answered the questions, passed. But that took FOREVER and my beer supply was low to begin with. Lol. Then IS-5 I copied and pasted the questions in to "answer.com" and got 85% return on verbatim answers......passed. I decided to take 9 more by just answering questions, no reading. Well I passed one more but failed 8 in total. Took the 25 question ones so they took all of 5 minutes, figured I'd take a gamble.......lost the gamble. Lol
3 credits of the 12.5 free electives I need done. Guess I need to actually read the pdf files. Lol

I print out the exam questions and download the material......then look up the answers. The questions usually follow the units, like the first 2 questions are answered in unit 2, etc. Some of the ones I took, the exam questions were the same as the knowledge check questions in each unit and the answers are already there.

Whats the penalty for failure? Can you retake it?
Does TESC accept these directly? Do you transcribe them through ace first and then to TESC?
Thanks!

I really hate studying more difficult topics now... for months, I had my glass of wine right next to the computer while studying. I can barely understand Business Law
without a drink, much less mildly impaired.
lol. If I end up doing some FEMA's I'll know to take them seriously, but it sounds like a drink or two might not hurt my ability to pass

I had a little shot of red wine prior to taking business policy the other day at 2 pm

. I was nervous and the smoothe wine calmed me down a little bit. I did very well on that test.

ok ok I will admit having just a tiny bit to drink during the SL Accounting final exam. I was also nervous and really am not good with numbers. I actually think it hurt a little though because I ended up getting a 70% on the final and a 79.20 overall. Yup.... 79.20. Less than a point away from a B. Hee heee.. all I care about is not having to take it ever
ever again.

Well today I was buzzed....feeling good, relaxed and into it. Yestersay I passed 1 FEMA, the rest I winged it. Today, armed with a better beer buzz, great food, and great music....I hammered out a total of 8 FEMA courses, all the courses needed to get that certificate.
Just don't know if they just automatically send it? Or do I need to request it? It's 7 courses in total. 5 more to go and all free electives are done. Now I REALLY have the hang of this and banging out 5 more will be easy! :hurray:

The cert will automatically be sent to the address provided on submission of the last test. So no you don't have to request it.
