Is there any local CC in Washington state offering decent online credits?
#1
Smile
Hello, everyone. I have been admitted to the University of Washington and would like to transfer in some online credits in order to finish my degree earlier. Due to the fact that UW almost only has good credit transfer policies for local Washington community colleges. Could you please give some suggestions on some CCs that offer some decent online credit programs or courses? I may need some courses like physics, calculus, linear algebra or even CS courses. Is there any Washington CC that has a good online learning experiences? Thank you! Smile

What kind of budget are you looking at? There are a couple of Washington colleges listed on https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sources_of_Credit but they're more expensive than Arizona State University Universal Learner or TEL Learning courses.

TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

It would actually be easier for you to look for local CC's than for people on here to do it for you.  Just go look at who UW has articulation agreements with, see if any are specific to your degree, and then see who has classes available and the price.  That's all anyone on here would do.

Sure. I think 500-1300 USD for a three-credit course would be ideal for me. It would be better if it is self-paced. But anything workable(like they are not ridiculously designed or very outdated) with a decent learning experience will do.

@zcao15, have you checked any community colleges in your area? Or do a search for the courses you wanted?

ASU Universal Learner, BYU IS, and UofIdaho IS all offer self-paced courses within your budget. I don't think they're self-paced, but Bellevue College has online classes that are within your budget for Washington residents. https://www.bellevuecollege.edu/elearning/current/faq/ https://www.bellevuecollege.edu/admissio...ees/rates/
