I can generally write, but I’m still ironing out an efficient process for the specifics of writing college papers. I have questions about the timing of UMPI YourPace terms, classes, and assignments. At UMPI's YourPace, it's pretty flexible. You can finish the classes at your own pace within the 8-week term, and once you finish a course, you can move on to the next one right away if you're ready no need to wait for the next term. For assignments like research papers and PowerPoints, you’ll have deadlines for drafts and final submissions, but the exact timing depends on your pace. Generally, everything needs to be finished by the end of the term. If you don't finish on time, you might need to extend your term or work with your instructor to figure out an alternative. But the flexibility is great for working around your schedule
Let’s say you sign up for 2 classes in a term and finish them, do you wait until the next term to sign up for 2 more?
I understand a term is 8 weeks, you go through the material, take tests, then you have research papers and powerpoints where you turn in drafts, get feedback, then submit your final draft.
How does the timing/deadlines of these assignments work?
Are there specific deadlines, or do you just need to finish everything by the end of the term?
What happens if you don’t?
