Hi,
I cannot tell what your working on...is it beg, inter or college algebra?
You have to score 70% or better on the assessment.
Once you assess at 70%+ you log in to your ACE account. Under the MyCourses tab search for ALEKS. Click on the course you just completed and add course. You will then enter the date completed, and click the update course button. Then click on submit for review button. You will see "pending" next to the course. ACES will then contact ALEKS and confirm your course completion. Once complete (can take from 1-24hrs depending on backlog and such) your ACE account will change to "approved/processing". When ACE has completed processing you will receive an email confirming the course has been added to your ACE transcript. You can then log in to your ACE account and order a transcript sent to TESC (this is when you pay the fee of $40).

and if you haven't done so already, write down those formulas you're learning, it works wonders on the assessment to have the formulas you need right there.

It's true that taking good notes will be extremely helpful. One approach I've used **when I'm almost done and expect the assessment I'm on to be my last** I will look up formulas I have not written down or cannot find on google for the certain type of problem. This method will not help you progress but will help you make the final shove.

I asked this question several months ago and came up blank, asked on the *cough* other forum *cough* and also came up blank. But just for laughs I'm going to ask here ....
In the last several months in which I have been mostly absent has anybody found anything similar to ALEKS, FEMA, or NFA, or even something like straighterline to consider. Basically anything free, or very cheap, that is ACE approved or accepted by any of the big three. I'm running out of ALEKS and need the next thing.
Also I specifically need cheap social science courses. Any ideas?

I think the next best deal, that I know of, is Dantes $80/$70 w/voucher & Cleps $72. Some other forum members have given great referrals on clovis community college. Not sure what penn foster has to offer in social science courses.
Depending on your needs Dantes has a ton of SOS stuff available. If you combine them with the lower level Cleps you're gold.

I have ran through the ACE catalog quite a few times trying to find different classes that would work and it isn't going to happen. I am sure some more might pop up later but none as of now. I have found some Allied Health A&P classes but they aren't cheap and the books are expensive as well......

To JB: Thanks, for checking. I tried to check myself once, but the list is too big!
To Bricabrac: Awesome! Thanks for the info. I'm super grateful! As soon as I'm done with ALEKS, that's next in line.

After my last post, I've been working very hard to finish my last course and I'm very happy to say that I'm FINISHED as of TODAY!! Also, after submitting my request to ACE, I was surprised to get such a quick turnaround. After 10mins of "Pending" it went to "Approved-Sumitted to ACE for Processing."
Now, I can breathe and relax and coast til Oct. Also, I wasn't doing this alone per say, my co-workers/friends were very supportive and I was able to complete my last assessment at work. After I got the golden "73%" I shared the good news with everyone and now it's party time (work & home).
