How long are your study sessions on average?

Fair enough. It may have been you, honestly I don't know. It is possible, after all, we are going to have a black president (who I support), unless the crooked political machine puts Clinton in. I'm actually more concerned about how the middle and lower class is getting the royal screwing in this country. Super delegates...... what kind of crap is that? And WE are going to show countries how a democracy works? Give me a break. Maybe it's age, I don't know but this country is getting crookeder (is that a word?) by the minute. Anyway, back to the original post, if he can do it, cheers to him. I hope he likes computers, it'll be his mate for the next 6 months. I know this push by me makes me appreciate fresh air more. I can't wait to get away from a computer. Just an aside, as I am writing this, my daughter is handing me all types of toys just for the heck of it. She walks up to me from out of nowhere with sunglasses, part of a flute. It's a crack up. These are the distractions I'm talking about. If it was you Gary, nothing derogatory was meant, just that Kilamanjaro is in front of him. Pack extra O2 and jammies. Take it EZ

My sessions are scattered base don work, family etc but when I do its usually like a 1-2 hr session. I keep going until I have maybe 90 percent of the material down.

On a side note. Do you guys (or maybe I should ask) "how many of you" feel its better to study 1-2 sections at a time until you memorize it?

or do you go through the whole thing over and over?

This is a great thread,
This year after returning from Africa, I have had a really tough time focusing, I got sick, I think had Malaria Plus Flue and my brains have been all over the Place.
I have not been able to sit for any Exams this year and it is really frustrating especially that I wanted to make it for the graduation Ceremony in July.

But Life happens and I have really drawn alot of strength and encourangement from this thread.

I am bad at keeping track of time, so I just study however long and stop when I am tired or want to watch American Idol or Prison Break, the only TV shows I watch, which I should probably cut out and make all the sacrifice for my degree.

The only show I watch is American Idol. I missed the show last week because of some study, but since I have a whole week, I am going to watch it tonight. THANKS for reminding me! Big Grin

I have taken two to three exams per week since I started. I study whenever I can, for as long as I can, and usually cram the two days non-stop before the exams. I have not worked so I could do this, due to the urgency of needing a degree and the inability to maintain my business. I don't have the patience to stay on IC for very long, so I will go through IC once or twice, take some practice quizzes, study my weaknesses off of the quizzes on wikipedia, then go through IC one more time. If I can find study notes, like I have been able to do for the next two (and my last) exams, I will cut and paste on word and print it out. I like to read material like a book.
