Hey, I am going to schedule to take the College Composition Modular exam with no essay tommorow. The school I am attending does not require that I take the essay portion. How do i designate that I am not taking the essays? Is it done when i buy the test form the college board website?

My guess is that you purchase the test like normal and then... don't do the essay. I would expect that when you are sitting there at the testing computer, there will be some kind of "option" to just skip past it without completing it.

The bigger issue would be when a candidate is required to do the optional essays. If this was the case, the test center needs to know because they have to order these paper-based essays (and there is an extra fee of $10 for these essays). The test centers will always assume that you do not need the optional essays for any of the literature exams unless you state otherwise.
