What kind of degree do you want?: I’m leaning towards a BLS with an Educational Studies minor at UMPI. If there is something else I can do faster, I’m open to it. I’m also open to a second minor if it’s only a 2-3 more classes.
Current Regional Accredited Credits: none
Budget: I'd like to go the cheapest route possible, but will consider spending more for easy and fast.
Commitments: Just a full time job
Dedicated time to study: I can study as much as is needed during the night or weekends as long as my schedule is free. I estimate at least 3 hours every week night and on the weekends, maybe 6 hours, total would be roughly 15+12=27 hours or slightly more.
Timeline: Finishing the courses required for the degree as fast as possible would be ideal. I would like to finish within 6 months.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: Student loans would be fine. If not and it’s under $5k, I’ll put it on a credit card.
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits:
Sophia credits: 91

Financial Accounting, 3, A
Microeconomics, 3, B
College Algebra, 3, B
Introduction to Statistics, 3, B
Precalculus, 3, C
Calculus, 4, C

Is there anything I’m missing or that doesn’t count. Any classes I should still take at Sophia?
Thank you!

From what I can tell, a 2nd minor is more classes then I'll want to take. Can you confirm that this would be enough at UMPI to finish just the BLS w/ Educational Studies minor?
EDU 152 intro to education
EDU 153 foundations in education
EDU 210 intro to pedagogy
EDU 302 teaching & learning in a professional based systems
EDU 305 designing and maintaining effective learning enviornments

Those are the 10 minimum you need, but I can see you don't have enough Upper Level, that's when I tell people to do a second minor, or the classes that can work towards the MAOL. It's personal preference, I think there was a change recently and they don't really look at that as long as you have enough upper level within the entire degree.

Am I right in thinking I need 5 more UL classes?
If I took:
Sophia: Business communications
Business Ethics
and
Study.com: Change Management
Leadership
Human Resource Management
Operations Management
Would that fill the UL requirements and give the minor in Management?
Or if I just pick 5 random UL classes would that complete the requirement for just the BLS with Education minor?
Thank you again

Apply, transfer your credits over, wait for evaluation and see what they have as remaining credits...
It's a waiting game right now until you apply and send them everything they need for evaluation...

Are you getting a degree for job reasons? A "check the box" as ppl call it?
If so, just submit what you have to UMPI. Looks like you're good to go. Anticipate taking 2 terms to complete; still a great value and within your budget and time. You can't go wrong if you follow the wiki; no matter what, you'll have to complete 10 classes. It's just that UMPI is a hassle when it comes to actually getting started, so expect a wait.
They have a "pre-law" minor that looks interesting too.
