At this point in time, it really depends on what classes you need to take to hit all the general education requirements and electives to max your transfer of 90 credits (or more, they just won't go into the degree).  I'll also throw in UofPeople as a contender...
Are you talking about the re-evaluation this May or did they do another one more recently?

The original Sophia strategy was:
- Complete one course that requires graded assignments (touchstones)

- While you're waiting for the grades, complete courses without touchstones

Touchstones should take you a day or so anyway so it shouldn't slow you down too much especially if they honor the 48 hour grading times. It should only take a month or two for the amount of Sophia courses you need.
Thanks for the info.
Applied to UMPI today.
What are your thoughts on Study.com along with or instead of Sophia? The only reason I'm asking is because it seems like Study.com is trying to compete more with Sophia and they have changed their pricing plans and removed proctored exams. The College Saver plan looks interesting due to its mobile APP access for complete courses while on the go and allow 3 classes to be completed simultaneously.
What term did you apply for? I ultimately decided on TESU, but I also applied to UMPI back at the end of May for Spring 1 term and I JUST got my evaluation last week. The turnaround time for evaluations is not quick. TESU was SUPER quick, and being an NJ resident with an NJ CC associate covering all Gen Eds, some Sophia, and other previous college credits, I only needed 5 UL courses from Study.com, Info Lit, and the Capstone. 7 courses total for my degree at TESU vs. 17 total for my degree at UMPI. woof.
